Year 8 Deliver a Dose of Summer Fun
Fuelled by ice pops and gummy bears, pupils from across the school gathered on the North Field on Tuesday for a few hours of innocent fun.
As is tradition at King’s Hall, the Year 8s threw their annual Summer Fête, kicking off the end-of-year festivities. This year, activities such as welly-wanging, sponge-throwing and netball-shooting proved highly popular. The tombola and sweet stand were also crowd pleasers! Pupils and staff had not a care in the world as they navigated the many stalls, spending their many tokens while dodging water guns, whipped cream and the odd flying welly.
We are now delighted to announce that an impressive £1297 has been raised. All proceeds will go to The Grand Appeal – a deserving charity that helps to support sick children and their families at Bristol Children’s Hospital. We thank everyone who purchased tokens or simply came along to enjoy the entertainment, as well as our wonderful class of Year 8s who put on another fantastic event!
