Pre-Prep Steal the Show with Gabriel's Big Break
Following on from the cuteness that was the Nursery Nativity, our Pre-Prep pupils gave their all as they staged their own retelling of the birth of Jesus.
Gabriel’s Big Break, the name of this year’s nativity, told the story of God’s important job list. All of the angels were eager to prove what they were made of, and thanks to the mishaps of two leading contenders, a young angel named Gabriel was given the chance to shine.
As ever, every Year 2 pupil had a line to deliver and led the production with great confidence and flair. We also had a record number of solos, duets and trios this year. The children in Reception and Year 1 were equally brilliant, also having their part to play in the important story. They made the most adorable sparkling stars, angelic angels, camels, paiges, inn-keepers, Bethlehem travellers, shepherds and energetic sheep.
Commending the children on their performance, Head of Pre-Prep, Claire Luckhurst said: “The confidence of every child on stage was a joy to behold and their enthusiasm washed over the audience in waves. A truly magical performance from some pretty spectacular children!”
