King's Hall Unveil New Astro Café
Calling all coffee lovers! Last weekend we were excited to officially open our new Astro Café – a delightful converted shed offering staff, parents, and spectators with a selection of delicious self-service refreshments.
The café, which is filled with provisions including a selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolates, will enable visitors to make their own hot drinks free of charge; a delightful pick-me-up after a day of sports fixtures.
The café adopts a modern look, complete with a fitted kitchen, sleek furniture, and an optional outdoor seating area for the summer months.
This renovation would not have been possible without the help of King’s Schools parent, James Halliday, who helped to build the stylish and ingenious seating that will provide a comfortable area for parents and friends to sit, chat, and assiduously watch their loved ones.
Director of Development at King’s Schools, Julian Mack, said “We were delighted to open the Astro Café last weekend and surprise parents from King's College, Taunton School and Millfield School with hot drinks and delicious Tunnocks Tea Cakes. The Café, which is now available for year group reps to host gatherings, provided welcome respite from the wind and rain during the netball and football matches."
If you would like to book the Astro Café for your coffee morning or for any other purpose, please contact the Development Team: firstname.lastname@example.org. There will be no charge.
