King’s Hall Welcome New Faces for Summer Open Day
Today we welcomed over 20 families to King’s Hall for our Summer Open Day. It was a delight to see so many new faces and to warmly welcome them to our school.
Our guests were invited to join the Headmaster, Justin Chippendale, for a talk in the Pemberton Room, as well as a speech by Jonty Heard and Josie Woodard, our Deputy Head Boy and Girl.
Throughout the morning, delicious refreshments were available, courtesy of our catering team, and Head of Equestrian, Emma Edwards, was on hand to provide information about our excellent riding provision and the King’s Schools Equestrian Centre. Families were also able to enjoy a tour of the school with our trusty pupil guides, who shared their favourite school memories and experiences.
Commenting on the event, Justin said: “Open Day is always a source of pride for us. The King’s Hall children are such great ambassadors, with their natural confidence and honesty providing the greatest insight into what life is really like here as a pupil. I also look on with pride at the enthusiasm of our teachers, who serve as reminders of the incredible opportunities and facilities that exist here."
He added: "It is always a pleasure to discuss a child's future education with families who are as engaged as we are in the joy of childhood. Thank you to everyone who attended today - we hope you had a wonderful morning with us, and we hope to welcome you back to King's Hall very soon."
