Boarders Take to the Tracks

Wishing Mr Clarke and his brother-in-law Gary all the best for their epic 240-mile charity cycle ride tomorrow in a… - 2 weeks ago

Our boarders experienced their first exhilarating activity of the term this week, taking to the King’s Hall tracks on their brand new go-karts.

The state-of-the-art machines were kindly donated by Mr Alastair Milburn, a former pupil, who kindly provides the school with an annual donation. As many of you will know, Alastair brought the wonderful Snoops into our lives way back in 2017. Two years on, our lovable pooch and the whole boarding gang benefitted from further donated items including a table tennis table, skateboard ramp, and wildly popular charging lockers.

This past weekend, the children transformed the school grounds into their very own Formula One racing track. For many it was their first time behind the wheel (thankfully!), but this didn’t stop their racing-driver egos taking over – did someone say Lewis Hamilton?

Once again we thank Alastair for his kind donation and look forward to taking our new wheels out for a spin again this weekend.
