Boarders Conquer Challenges at Clip 'n Climb

After a leisurely morning and delicious breakfast, our boarders set off for a day of climbing at Exeter’s famous Clip ‘n Climb adventure centre.

The vertical playground was a unique and extraordinary experience for the pupils, many of whom had never climbed before. Home to challenges including Stairway to Heaven, Spaghetti Junction, and Leap of Faith, the centre proved the perfect place for both the young and the young at heart. Steady balance, careful footwork, and plenty of courage were required to navigate the course.

Head of Boarding, Clare Masters, said: “Judging from the children’s speed, agility, and flexibility, the only conclusion we could come to was that 90% of the boarders must, in some way, be related to Spiderman. Mr Jones, Miss Macgregor, and Miss Beecher … not so much!”

She added: “It’s safe to say that after hours of conquering spherical climbs, adrenaline-pumping jumps, and races against the clock, the boarders were tired yet elated. Suffice to say, Clip ‘n Climb ‘rocked’ and we cannot wait to return very soon.”
