White-knuckle Adventures at Crealy Adventure Park
Last weekend, our boarders enjoyed a trip to Crealy Adventure Park, the largest theme park in Devon. Just a stone’s throw from Somerset, it proved the perfect first outing of the Summer Term.
Home to over 60 attractions, including white-knuckle roller-coasters The Twister, the Tidal Wave, and the Flying Dutchman, there was no doubt our boarders would jump at the chance to visit! And for those a little less adventurous, there were plenty of animals to enjoy in the suitably named Meerkat Manor and Tortoise Town.
The first hour of the day was spent racing around the indoor slides and ball pits, before an afternoon of rides and water fun. Spirits were not dampened by the wind and rain, and following their exhausting day out, the boarders even found time to enjoy their first BBQ of the term.
Head of Boarding, Clare Masters, said: “It’s happy days in the boarding house so far! We have plenty to look forward to over the coming weeks, including a trip to the Quay West Water Park, an adventurous Bear Trail, and even a delicious Boarding Bake Off.”
