Finally, after weeks of revision and a week of exams, the Year 8 girls could relax and unwind and enjoy a night of pampering. The girls’ common room was decorated with twinkling lights and soft music and that smell of nail varnish, cucumber, chocolate and body lotions oozed from the room. The girls adorned in their fluffy dressing gowns enjoyed making their own face masks and relaxing on the sofas, faces covered in bananas, honey and yoghurt! Cucumbers on the eyes and feet soaking in peppermint oil, out came the magazines while hair was straighten, curled and designed and at the same time toe nails painted. The final touch being glitter lotion (which has covered not only the girls but everything around them) and a chocolate and fruit fondue and tropical fruit cocktails. A perfect treat after a hard few weeks.
