Year 6 Library Monitors pass their training with flying colours | King's Hall School Taunton

A group of nine enthusiastic bookworms from Year 6 have now completed their training to become fully fledged Library Monitors. They are all extremely excited about helping out in the library at morning break from the beginning of next term, recommending their favourite books, helping fellow pupils to locate information and generally assisting their peers with all things bookish. They are also thrilled to be receiving their shiny badges at Final Assembly!

They have certainly earned their badges, having completed their training portfolio and demonstrated their understanding of how the library works, including how fiction and non-fiction are organised, how to locate specific books and so on. They are now experts in searching our library management system and have even completed a “mystery shopper” task to test their helping skills. All passed with flying colours!

A huge well done to you all! What wonderful ambassadors for reading you all are!
