The Wider World
King’s Hall encourages its pupils to raise funds for various local and overseas charities and, typically, they raise around £8,000 each year for worthy causes, both locally and overseas. Since 2005/6 the school has taken part in the Adopt Sri Lanka “Twins” project which was founded by one of our parents, Ashley Gray, with the aim of supporting tsunami-hit schools in Sri Lanka.
King’s Hall is twinned with Henachandra School and exchanges letters, art work and similar items with the children. Pupils have also raised £2,250 to buy school equipment, including 40 band costumes and musical equipment; learning equipment; and Home Science items.
