Over the past two weeks, King’s Hall pupils have been hard at work spreading their love of reading by designing bunting based on their favourite story. Once complete, this decorative bunting will be a fantastic source of reading recommendations from our entire school community.
Tuesday morning also saw the first of this year’s Book Breakfast gatherings. Our Year 7 bookworms had read The Good Thieves by Katherine Rundell over the summer holidays, and so we met over a delicious spread of Danish pastries and fruit juice to chat about the story and to write some postcards to send to the author. We all agreed that books and pastries make the perfect start to the day!
