Graduate Gap Student

King’s Hall School has a vacancy for a well-qualified and enthusiastic graduate, initially for two academic terms starting in January 2020, but longer if advantageous to both parties.

The role will be residential and is a rewarding full immersion in school life. It will involve supporting children in class and being a part of the boarding duties. An ability to contribute to the sport and co-curricular life of the school is important. King’s Hall has children up to Year 8 (13 years of age).

The role is likely to suit either a) those specifically seeking further experience of working with children prior to teacher training or b) those simply looking for a rewarding work experience within a vibrant, positive and busy school community.

Ideal candidates will be able to add to the coaching of sport (netball, rugby, hockey and cricket among others) and also provide support in some academic lessons.

Single accommodation within the boarding areas will be provided free of charge, together with all meals during term-time. Salary is dependent on the age and experience of the individual but is competitive (and board and lodging is provided).
