Somerset Success for Young Tennis Star Theo

Be careful! There may be Celtic tribes hiding around here, ready to attack! Can you locate their secret lair?… https://t.co/vHpUMQp7rv - 2 days ago

Young Theo Lamey is making quite a name for himself in the tennis world, with the Year 4 pupil recently winning the U8 Somerset County Tennis Championship.

Theo, who lives in Taunton, plays his tennis at the Blackbrook Tennis Centre, where he has been a member and trained for the last three years.

As a result of his success at the Somerset Championship, he has been selected to represent Somerset next year in their U9 team.

Theo is also an all-round sportsman, and despite being only eight years of age, he has already played cricket for the Somerset U10s, and last term played for the King’s Hall Colts A side.

Tennis runs in Theo’s family, with his older brother Morgan, who currently attends King’s College, winning his first county tournament at the age of eight. We have high hopes for Theo!
