Reception visit to Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm! | King's Hall School Taunton

Reception visit to Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm!

Our Reception children had a wonderful educational visit to Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm this week, as part of their topic on animals.

To start the day off the children took part in a fascinating workshop with two of the owls on the farm. Being able to meet them so closely was a wonderful experience and the children learned a number of interesting facts and characteristics about different types of owls. Afterwards the children took a bumpy tractor ride around the farm, and watched a brilliantly informative farm animal show.

Following their delicious packed lunch, the children explored the wild side of the zoo farm and were very excited to visit the zoo lions, tigers, elephants and giraffes!

To finish the day, the children had lots of fun climbing and sliding on the wonderful Noah’s Ark. On their return to school, the children were feeling a little tired, but were so much wiser, just like the owls they had been learning about!
