Reception Space Explorers Embark on Galactic Adventure

Our pupils had a fun morning trying to spot us in @Tatlermagazine's 2019 Schools Guide! Have you picked up your cop… https://t.co/Hjk6szmXR6 - 2 hours ago

As part of their topic on ‘Space’, Reception pupils took a trip to Bristol, where they visited ‘We the Curious’, one of the UK’s biggest and most exciting science museums.

The interactive centre, where “boundaries are removed between science, art, people and ideas,” provides those of all ages with hundreds of hands-on exhibitions, displays and live shows.

The pupils enjoyed throwing themselves (quite literally in some cases) into all the interactive displays, including a human-sized hamster wheel and giant bubble machine.

After refuelling with a special ‘moon’ picnic, the group departed for an amazing outer space adventure. Based in the Planetarium, or ‘Disco Ball’, the Reception Space Explorers took off on a galactic journey, dodging planets in their rocket ship and learning all about the solar system.

The pupils discovered so much during this exciting adventure and look forward to returning soon.
