Yellow was the theme last Friday as pupils from across Pre-Prep dressed in their favourite Pudsey-themed clothes for a day of Children in Need activities.

This term’s Pupil Voice saw the children generate ideas of how to fundraise for this year’s appeal. Many suggestions were put forward, with Democracy Dog ensuring a fair vote was carried out to select the most popular ones. It was a tough decision, but the children eventually opted for a delicious cake sale, a sponsored run and a very popular ‘Pudsey Disco’.

Polka dot cupcakes and pop music were all the range, with the pupils showing off their best dance moves in a series of party games. It really was a joyous occasion for all!

Head of Pre-Prep, Claire Luckhurst, said: “The children were very excited as they had real ownership of each event. They were so proud that they were helping Pudsey Bear turn sadness into smiles, and really eager to understand the true meaning behind the appeal.”

Thanks to the children’s passion and the staff and parents’ generosity we have raised over £1000, with donations still pouring in. Well done and thank you everyone!
