We currently hire some of the equipment we need, which means that it is only available for the major productions.  If we owned our own equipment we could provide opportunities for a greater number of children. We wish to buy some head mics, hand-held radio mics, floodlights, lanterns and a follow spot.

School Environment Projects

2011 Mich Opening of Hide (Thumbnail)School environment projects are designed to nurture and enhance the surroundings of the School, contributing to its ambience and character. We are delighted that the support we have received for the annual fund this year has already enabled us to purchase and install a hide, to enable pupils to observe the buzzards, herons, foxes, deer, coots, moorhens, kingfishers and other wildlife around the lakes and copse at the front of the school.

Co-curricular Projects

Through supporting a diverse range of projects across co-curricular activities at King's Hall, it is hoped that gifts to the Annual Fund will enhance the experience of not only pupils in the school, but also memberof the wider King's coomunity.

The co-curricular projects identified for support by the Annual Fund 2011/2012 are:

If you have had to face a fast bowler on the King's Hall main cricket square then you will know the ball is not always easy to see against the trees that provide our wonderful surroundings. A sightscreen at each end will help us to solve that problem. It would also enhance our playing facilities if we were able to place a scorebox at the ground.
