Nursery’s Mystery Trip to Pennywell Farm
In the final weeks of term, our Nursery pupils enjoyed a mystery trip to Pennywell Farm. Spirits were high as the children put on their warmest coats, ready for a day of adventures.
On arrival, they were greeted by Ben (not Buddy!) the Elf, who kindly took them to Noah’s Barn. The children could have spent all day here, taking turns on the bouncy castles, merry go-rounds and meeting lots of adorably fluffy animals.
Following some much-deserved playtime, the pupils were ready for a delicious picnic full of festive treats and surprises. Once full, it was then time for the magical part – a live nativity in which the children could take part! This was met with great enthusiasm, and the children soon found themselves adopting the roles of innkeepers, flying angels and wise princesses.
To round off the day’s events there was only one thing left to do. So, with excitement in their hearts and a spring in their step, the group made the long trek to the ‘North Pole’, where they ventured in search of Father Christmas. Overjoyed to have finally arrived at his Grotto, the children sat down and shared their wish list with Mr Claus himself (they even got an early present!). It was a magical and enjoyable day for all.
