Young thespians at King's Hall
Two of our pupils have been stretching the theatrical muscles recently by appearing in productions alongside older children and adults.
Georgia Fidler, in Year 5, has recently been part of the ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ production at the Brewhouse Theatre in Taunton. Having auditioned for a part, she received an email stating that she had a part as a little girl and a camel, an interesting combination. Georgia was very excited as she has always dreamed of becoming an actress and sees this as the first step to bigger things. Lots of practice has taken place more recently with Georgia performing from the 10th December. A huge well done.
Ella Rowlands also auditioned for, and successfully secured, the role of Gretl in King’s College’s recent musical, ‘The Sound of Music’. The show ran for four evenings and Ella did a fantastic job coping with such demands, especially considering that she is only in Year 4! Well done, Ella. Please click here to read a full review.
We all look forward to seeing both girls in future productions at King’s Hall, and beyond!
