Woodland Adventures fun!
It was a busy week at Woodland Adventures over the Easter holidays, filled with egg-straordinary activities! The children had lots of fun exploring the woods and looking for some hidden, edible surprises! We created some new special areas to our woodlands, they included; a Pixie Garden, Woodland Story House and Dinosaur Swamp! The Pixie Garden was full of magic, little doorways, elves and small creatures. The Woodland Story House features comfy seating, pictures on the wall and a pirate treasure chest full of wonderful books to choose from.
The Dinosaur Swamp was full of squelchy mud, leaves, sticks, stones and of course many different species of dinosaurs! The children also got stuck into a bit of cooking; we made chocolate crunch Easter nests, everyone helped take part by snapping the chocolate, breaking the shredded wheat, stirring, pouring and scooping the mixture, and it has to be said that they took a lot longer to make than to be eaten!
