Santa Spotted in Somerset!
It’s official … Santa has a Christmas holiday home in Somerset! His magical woodland hideaway has been found at Orchardleigh, and our Nursery children were lucky enough to see it for themselves!
Following the trail through the enchanted woodland, the children arrived at the Festive Lodge and were greeted by Mrs Claus along with one of her lovable elves (Mrs Williams' Son Allie).
Before setting off on the magical trail in search of Santa, the children enjoyed some snacks at the Elf Station.
Wandering along the path, they explored the woodland and … eventually … came upon the great man himself, sitting in his magical hideaway. Very kindly, Santa greeted each child and listened carefully as they told him what was at the top of their Christmas lists!
The ride on Santa’s sleigh was another highlight and before leaving, the children made a wish at Orchardleigh's wishing tree.
The trip was finished off by a fantastic ride on the ‘Elfmobile’ and a picnic lunch back at the Elf Station.
This was such a wonderful way to get into the festive spirit of Christmas. The children were so beautifully behaved and were a real credit to their parents and to the school.
