King’s College Primary Schools Relay event
31 King’s Hall runners, picked from Year 4-6, recently competed in the King’s College Primary Schools Relay event. The teams had been organised, the children were ready and prepared and hopes were high. A strong start from a number of the King’s Hall teams was very impressive and gave a huge amount of confidence to the remainder of the runners. Girls' and boys' teams littered the top ten positions and representatives from Year 4 were as competitive as Year 5 and 6 teams. After three blistering laps the team of Cameron Wallace, Oscar Mack and Arthur Webster finished in 2nd place overall and were the leading Year 5 team. Close behind in 5th place overall was the Year 6 team of Ged Williams-Pritchard, Tom Kittow and Vincent Yates who ran strongly throughout. In 7th place overall was the girls team of Lexie Wallace, Elise Roberts and Josephine Woodard with this placing giving them the highest placed girls team in the event. All of the runners performed exceptionally well and enjoyed the experience. We all look forward to the next event which will take place next half term.
