Football U13 National Knockout Cup against Hans Price Academy
The U13 boys travelled to Weston-Super-Mare to face Hans Price Academy in the next round of the National Knockout cup and, again, they came so close and played so well, only to lose on penalties! An excellent display throughout normal time meant King's Hall dominated possession and territory and had plenty of chances to score, but lacked a little venom in their shooting.
In defence, Rufus Williams-Pritchard, Henry Hawkins and Pedro Espinos limited Hans Price to only a few shots on target, which were easily dealt with. In extra time it was much the same story with Cassian McLoughlin, Max Earp and Will Moulden having an impressive influence on the match.
King's Hall again missed some gilt-edged chances. The scores ended level at 1-1, the King's Hall goal having been scored by Adam Craig, meaning the match, for the second time this season, went to penalties.
King's Hall missed two of their penalties and when Hans Price converted their 5th penalty they had won the match. A fantastic game and the boys should be extremely proud of their performance.
