Excellent start to National Bunbury Cup for King's boys

In the first round of the National Bunbury Cup, King's Hall were drawn against Bournemouth who were the Dorset champions the previous year. King's Hall won the toss and batted first on a very good pitch. They amassed 233 for the loss of no wickets. An outstanding partnership between George Thomas (104*) and James Rew (103*) was utterly dominant throughout. When King's came to bowl, good opening spells from Johnnie Lawson Johnston (1-13) and Aman Rao (1-16) set the tone and all bowlers followed their lead. Charlie Sharland (2-5), Joe Seymour (2-15), Josh Thomas (2-16) all contributed to an excellent win. Next round King's will face either Exeter or Truro School.

Well done boys and good luck for future rounds.
