Easter Egg Trail

By kind permission of Ed and Emily White, around 60 King’s Hall School families, including the ever energetic King's Hall boarding family, converged on Willett Hill for the annual Friends of King's Hall Easter Egg Hunt. In true British style the weather did not put anybody off and groups donned coats, hats and wellies to navigate around the orienteering course in search of 'eggs' to punch cards. There were two courses to keep everyone happy and it seemed most enjoyed the challenge of both - most children, that is, who duly dragged their parents around! While everyone else was charging around the course, the FoKHS team were moving BBQs into sheltered spots, sparring on the team radio and cooking up burgers for the seekers' return. Children were rewarded for their efforts with real chocolate eggs and we were all rewarded for braving the initial drizzle with several breaks in the weather and we managed to have our burgers in sunshine whilst appreciating stunning views and good company.
