Dinosaurs go missing in Reception!

We have had the most exciting and productive first half of term in Reception. We came back from the holidays to find, to our horror, that all of our dinosaurs in Reception were missing! Thankfully, the dinosaurs had left us a letter to say that they were on an important mission to help a friend who was in danger. This sent Reception into despair and led to some fantastic ideas and questioning from the children.

The dinosaurs also sent us on a hunt, following clues, which led us to some dinosaur eggs! We kept in touch with the dinosaurs by writing them letters and sending them an invitation to a Dinosaur party … which they came to! We were so pleased to have our dinosaurs back in Reception and we had a great time celebrating their return with a party.
