Cricket County Champions!

The King’s Hall Under 12 side was recently crowned as champions of Somerset after defeating Kingsmead School in the final which was carried over from the summer term.

King’s Hall batted first and scored 167 for 3 in our 25 overs. Captain Jack Holmes led the way with 57. William Potter scored 47 and Samuel Underdown chipped in with 38 not out. In reply Kingsmead were bowled out for 39.

We had already defeated Wellington, Taunton Prep and Millfield Prep on the way to the final.

The side will go on to represent Somerset in the national stages of the competition next summer.
