	News > Home News Memorial to Mr Andrew Shawyer Many people will have noticed that we have recently replaced the tired looking chain in front of the school with more stylish box planters which are totally in keeping with our Georgian building's architecture. These delightful improvements are in memory of Mr Andrew Shawyer, the first Headmaster of Pyrland Hall and they have been donated to King's Hall by his daughter Gail and son Robin to whom we are most grateful.
