A Record Year for Scholarships to Senior Schools

Pupils in Year 8 have broken all records for the number of scholarships awarded to them by their prospective senior schools. A total of thirty eight scholarships have been awarded by six different senior schools. Twelve of the scholarships were for outstanding academic performance, with others in Art, Drama, Music and Sport. The majority were to our partner school, King’s College in Taunton. Other schools were Blundell’s, Sherborne School, Sherborne School for Girls, Queen’s Taunton and St Mary’s, Shaftesbury.
