House Music Competition

Whitby emerged as the overall winners of this year’s House Music competition, which took place on the final afternoon of the term.

The junior soloist section of the competition was won by William Cashmore (Oldham), on the piano, playing the tune from the Pink Panther.

Oldham also won the senior soloist cup, with Olivia Murray on the trumpet. She played Huapango by Adam Gorb.

The theme for the House Song this year was Abba and it was Whitby who won this category with their delightful version of Take a Chance on Me.
