Extra Curricular Music
Individual lessons are taught by a dedicated team of 14 visiting music teachers recruited for the knowledge of their instrument and experience in the music industry. Most instruments are catered for: Piano, Guitar (Classical and Rock), Oboe, Brass, Drums and Strings to name but a few. Pupils are given one 30 minute lesson each week on a “one-to-one” basis.
If they wish, pupils can be entered for either The Associated Board or Trinity Guildhall Examinations. For the Rock musicians, pupils may be entered for The School Of Rock Examinations. However, examinations are by no means obligatory and playing for fun is regarded as equally important as preparing for examinations.
