Medical centre
King's Hall School is well served when medical cover is needed, be it care of the occasional cut or bruise or children's illnesses necessitating time in bed or isolation. As a boarding school we have an obligation, which is taken seriously, to provide medical cover and as a result our day pupils are able to benefit as well.
Two local doctors (one male and one female) stand by to provide in-depth medical cover as needed and attend the school's impressively-equipped Medical Centre for regular surgeries.
The Medical Centre is staffed by full-time qualified nurses and is open for regular business between 8.15 am and 4.15 pm but qualified cover is always available outside these formal opening hours from our boarding staff. Owing to our close relationship with our associated senior school, King's College, Taunton, we also have the advantage of access to more qualified staff just a short car-ride away.
We are proud of our staff and facilities - our pupils, be they boarders or day, benefit from the availability of well-qualified and motivated staff and well-equipped sick-bays and surgery.
