Our long weekend began with a relaxed evening on Friday watching Gnome Alone and Shrek 2 accompanied by bountiful amounts of pizza and giggles. Saturday morning was spent exploring the Rural Living Show and then after a huge lasagne lunch we headed off to Hestercombe Gardens where the fun and games really started with some great games of Hide and Seek where we discovered Mr Campleman's talent for camouflaging himself. After all the running around, a hot chocolate from the cafe was a necessity! After another relaxing evening of watching movies, playing games and eating donuts, everyone was ready for bed.
We then spent an action-packed day at We the Curious in Bristol on Sunday. Investigations into bubbles, gravity and Inventions had all the children intrigued. The planetarium was a massive hit, where we all discovered the magic of the night sky. We then had a quick, but lovely dinner at a riverside restaurant before boarding the train to head home.
A message from Snoops
We are heading towards the festive season at high speed. My walks have certainly got a lot colder this week but I haven't needed my doggy jacket just yet. I have been dying to tell you all about the postcard I received from Mrs Compel's Year 3 class this week. They are reading a book called Otoline and the Yellow Cat and they were inspired to send a postcard, similar to the ones they have read in their book. They asked me a few questions so I thought it only proper to make a quick response. So, on Wednesday I sent my very first postcard. What fun I had writing it. I will definitely send more in the future.
