U12 Clubs Nationals, Cannock, W Midlands

Congratulations to 4 King’s Hall girls who played in the U12 Nationals last weekend after qualifying in the Regional Hockey Tournament at Millfield last month, coming 2nd in the South West.
Anna Denton (GK), Imogen Keeling (CH) and (C), Anna Crocker (Defense and Wing) and Anna Stillwell (Defense) played at Cannock Hockey Club on Sunday 15th May, 2011 as members of our local Taunton Vale Hockey Club U12 squad.
After a tense play off match which ended 1-1, it went to 3 penalty strokes, which also ended in a draw. Sudden death penalty strokes saw Beeston, our opponents finally conquer and our squad finished in 8th place in the Country. What a fantastic achievement by these young players and definitely a sporting day to remember. Well played girls!
