National Poetry Day

This year's National Poetry Day was celebrated in style at King's Hall: from Pre-Prep to Prep, a veritable feast of poetic activity was had by all! In both the Pre-Prep and the Prep, the day began with a special National Poetry Day assembly in which exciting dramatisations of a range of performance poetry was enjoyed by pupils and staff alike. Throughout the rest of the day, Poetry was created and displayed in a variety of interesting and unusual ways: Year 3 created a Poetree in the Rose Garden, Year 4 brought Street Art to the school in the form of poetry graffiti and Year 5 wore their own poetic creations on T-shirts.
