Hats for Haiti

25/01/2011
One of the most important projects developed by the Pupil Council this year has been a fundraising day for Haiti, called 'Hats for Haiti' where pupils wore crazy, creative and wonderful hats to school. They were asked to donate at least £2 for the privilege of wearing a hat. We also held a sale after school that included cakes, cookies, brownies, jam, plants and eggs. This initiative came from the pupils, who knew about the earthquake in Haiti and wanted to help in some way. We are very pleased to have raised over £800 for children of Haiti.
