Grandparents' Afternoon

On Wednesday 9 November, Pre-Prep held its first Grandparents’ Afternoon which saw over fifty grandparents visit and see their grandchildren in action.
The children were busy all morning preparing cakes, cards and gifts to present to their grandparents and there was definitely an air of excited anticipation floating around!
Our visitors arrived at 2.00pm in the Arts Centre where they were greeted by their grandchildren with smiles, cuddles and kisses. The children then took their grandparents’ on a tour of the Pre-Prep, which in some cases was very methodical with one grandfather even being shown the PE equipment shed! They then returned to the Arts Centre where they were treated to a cup of tea and a lovingly decorated cake. They also took home a keepsake of their afternoon which was a photograph of them with their grandchild, taken upon arrival, inside a decorated frame.
It was a very special afternoon which was enjoyed by all.
