Bugsy Malone

This term's major dramatic production was Bugsy Malone, words and music by Paul Williams and the Libretto by Alan Parker. It was performed by Year 8 pupils over three nights to packed houses in the school's Arts Centre.
The whole cast and crew are to be congratulated on providing us with such energetic and enjoyable entertainment.
There were excellent performances in particular from Josh Stickland (Bugsy), Bronwen Prosser (Blousey Brown), and Georgia Drew (Tallulah). The rival gang leaders Fat Sam and Dandy Dan were played by Edward Keeling and Sam Underdown respectively.
Congratulations also to Mrs Lisa Keirle, who directed and to Mr Michael McDermott, who was the Musical Director.
