A fun-packed day for Year 1!

01/11/2011
Year 1 spent a beautiful autumn day at Escot, near Honiton, to support their topic of ‘Homes’. The children enjoyed exploring Saxon homes and they found out how smoky they became when the fire was lit! They also had the opportunity to spend some time in a yurt.
Many other activities were enjoyed by the children, such as making name badges in a Forest School session, getting lost in a maze, watching the otters being fed, meeting the birds of prey and exploring the woodland at Escot.
A tiring, fun-packed day was had by all.
