Born in Wellington, Somerset, and educated at King's Hall School (then Pyrland Hall) and King's College, Tim qualified as a chartered accountant in 1986, and joined Milsted Langdon in Taunton in 1989, where he has been a partner since 1991. Both his sons, Charles and Henry, came through King's Hall School and King's College, Henry achieving the rare honour of being appointed school captain of both schools.
Aside from family commitments and time-consuming domestic activities like gardening, he is always keen to pursue his outdoor interests, which include sailing, walking and skiing.
