A Classics Scholar at Hertford College, Oxford, Simon started his career as Head of Classics at Heatherdown Prep School in Ascot. In 1977 he moved to Beachborough School and became Headmaster in 1979. Simon was then appointed as Headmaster at Eagle House Prep School in Sandhurst where he introduced co-education and opened a Pre-Prep department.
Married with two children, he now runs a schools consultancy company called 2SC, working mostly with Prep Schools, providing training and preparation for inspections, appraisal systems and the appointment of senior staff.
