Richard entered the Marketing and Sales Department of Proctor and Gamble Ltd directly from school and progressed to hold a number of senior international management positions. In 1979 he moved to global CEO roles with Wilkinson Sword PLC, Coats Viyella and the International Wood Secretariat. He is now Chairman, Vice Chairman and Non-Executive Director of a number of internationally focussed technology businesses and Investment Funds. He is additionally an apolitical member of a number of International Government Boards responsible for innovation policy development.
