Girls Make King’s Hall Cricketing History
Somerset is the national home of England Women’s Cricket and we have a very strong pedigree in this sport at King’s. The amount of cricket the girls play is rapidly increasing and history was made recently when the girls played their first ever game of hardball cricket. Their opponents, Taunton School, were excellent comrades in arms as both teams enjoyed the game demonstrating their skills, talents and enthusiasm throughout.
After the game, Anna Hardy, King’s Hall girls’ cricket coach said: “It was an amazing afternoon, most importantly because the girls had a great time putting up such a great performance that they should be very proud of themselves.”
“Thanks, also, to Taunton School for contributing to such a fantastic game of cricket.”
