“King's College enjoys a warm, happy and welcoming atmosphere and excellent pastoral care provided by dedicated and experienced members of staff.”
The Next Step
The majority of King’s Hall pupils move onto our senior school, King's College. However, as all children are prepared for the 13+ Common Entrance examination they are able to progress to any senior school of their choice. In previous years, our pupils have progressed to schools including Eton, Harrow, Radley and Cheltenham Ladies' College.
The Headmaster is always happy to give guidance to parents when they are considering their child’s future school.
Continuing the Journey at King's College
King’s College is a thriving boarding and day school providing quality education for 13-18 year olds. Like King’s Hall School it is part of the Woodard Corporation. Throughout their time at King's Hall, pupils regularly visit King's College to utilise the fantastic facilities available there. These visits not only enhance learning at King's Hall, they also make the site and staff at King's College far more familiar once they are ready to make the move to senior school.
Situated in the bustling market town of Taunton, the school is small enough to have a warm, friendly atmosphere, yet large enough to compete nationally on many levels. King’s espouses the ideal of all-round excellence, with superb academic results coupled to high achievement in sport, art, music, drama and outdoor pursuits.
The school enjoys a warm, happy and welcoming atmosphere and excellent pastoral care provided by dedicated and experienced members of staff. When asked recently what they liked most about King’s College, a Sixth Form pupil commented: “We work very hard, but we have a lot of fun as well. There is always so much to do.”
