Last weekend, the boarders who were not involved in a match on Saturday had a great time at Taunton museum. On Sunday, as always, everyone had a lovely lie-in, scrumptious breakfast and chilled morning...conserving their energy for the afternoon's excitement. Flip Out was loved by everyone - bouncing on trampolines, walls and each other - and the boarders can't wait to go again! It was definitely a fun-filled weekend, which set everyone up for the week ahead. Then...long weekend here we come!
A message from Snoops our boarding pup
This week has been an absolute blast. As you know, I help Matron with her daily laundry and housekeeping duties but this week has been the best because we have been sorting out all the old duvets, pillows and bedding ready to go to a charity for the homeless. I'm not sure that Matron would report that I've been particularly helpful, but it's been immensely good fun. From a pup's point of view, I can tell you that piles of duvets in the corridors is nearly as exciting a snow and leaves!
The other great thing that happened this week was the Head Girl's birthday pizza party. It was such good fun and I was on hand to clear up all the crumbs and spillages - our cleaners must love me for helping them out!
Finally, as you know PSHE is an important part of the curriculum at King's Hall School. I understand the importance of children and puppies learning how to behave properly and respectfully. I also realise that making apologies when mistakes are made is paramount. For that reason I would like to make an apology to Mr Chippendale for doing one of my upside down acrobatic routines and for putting my head under one of the sofa cushions during the whole school staff meeting earlier in the week. Sorry!
