Having spent the day chilling and generally taking it easy watching films and playing ball games in the sports hall, we all trouped off for a late afternoon of 'lazer' shooting. The hardest part was splitting the children and staff into groups with no arguments!! They then spent the next hour rotating groups in and out the rather apocalyptic, futuristic, ‘Hunger Games’ style arena! A lot of shouting and sweating and a vast amount of shooting then fill an hour while I sat with my feet up with a coffee (I wish!). Rather tied and lethargic we returned to school for a roast meal and settled down to write letters home to our family. A lovely day to complete the first week back.
