Facilities
Kings Hall, situated in specialised buildings and surrounded by beautiful farm and woodland, offers superb facilities to enable all-round development. The excellent facilities include:
- A tiered seating arts theatre
- Specialist Art and Design Technology rooms
- Fully equiped Science labs
- Full size Astroturf
- Specialist libraries in both Prep and Pre-Prep
- Individual music practice rooms
- Dedicated sports hall
- Heated outdoor swimming pool
- IT suite equipped with 50 networked computers with interactive whiteboards
- 50 acres of sports fields and woodlands
In addition, Pre-Prep children have their own playing field area, terraced playgrounds and an enclosed area of woodland, known as Little Wood, for their exclusive use. A much larger area of woodland is also used for our Forest School sessions.
Excellent boarding facilities are offered with full-time and weekly boarders sharing accommodation, all of which was recently refurbished.
Each year we have a good number of children who gain scholarships in the disciplines of Academia, Sport, Music, Drama, Art and Design technology (130 over the last four years) and this is assisted hugely by the high quality of facilities we have at our disposal. It goes without saying, that of course every child benefits from this level of provision and consequently is afforded the opportunity to be their best in any discipline they choose.
