Communication, Literature and Language
The school aims to help children develop their skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing – in English, French and Latin - so that they can express themselves creatively and imaginatively and communicate with others effectively. Staff aim to teach children to think clearly, to be independent minded and to develop their understanding of themselves and the world around them, in terms of its different cultures and language traditions.

| • | Optional French club - "La Jolie Ronde" - introduces them to French culture and language. |
| • | Language trips immerse pupils in the target language, e.g. Year 7 trip to Morgins, Switzerland. |
