Cameron Crowned County Champion

Looking good! Our little chefs certainly looked the part at yesterday's Cookery School Opening. Read all about this… https://t.co/F9CBCsjznY - 5 hours ago

King’s Hall runners enjoyed considerable success at the recent Somerset Schools Cross-Country Championships at Aldon Hill in Yeovil.

The aptly-named course saw over 50 competitors navigate its many loops, slopes, and hills, with four of our pupils braving the cold to compete.

Cameron Wallace, Lexie Wallace, Eve Rowe, and Henry Earp, were selected to represent Taunton in the competition after qualifying at the regionals in December. Lexie placed 14th in the Junior Girls’ category, with Eve also coming 14th in the Minor Girls’ section, and Henry 12th in the Minor Boys’.

However, it was 11-year-old Cameron who stole the show, winning the Minor Boys’ race and achieving County Champion status. He will now go on to represent Somerset at the South West Championships.
