About King's Hall

We are a leading Pre-Prep and Prep school for girls and boys from 3 to 13 years old, with around 400 pupils . Set in a beautiful countryside location surrounded by farmland, the school is only a couple of miles from the centre of Taunton .

We respect traditional values and boarding is a strong feature, which contributes to the real family atmosphere that exists in the school. Children enjoy a challenging all-round education in a progressive and stimulating environment.

King's Hall is one of the Woodard Schools, a group of 40 member schools whose approach is based on the principles of the Church of England. King's College, Taunton is also a member and although the two schools are on separate sites, there is a close working relationship between them and most pupils move on there at age 13.
